Kathryn has studied art and design throughout her life. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Art and Design from the University of Kentucky. Having had a long and successful career as an Interior Designer, she now teaches oil painting and paints in her home studio full time. She has received numerous awards and has participated in many art shows throughout the region. Kathryn enjoys painting the beauty of the simple things in life, especially children at play, pets, flowers, landscapes and animals of all shapes and sizes! Her work is known for it's vibrant use of color, and painterly brushwork.
